Taqueria Puebla

A taqueria that is a hidden gem in this part of MD. I decided to try this spot based on the recommendation of local friend and was blown away by the quality of the food. The quality is on point and gives you that home made sensation and love. The taco portions are huge, way bigger than what you would typically expect. This place is more of your hole in the wall kind of spot that serves amazing food. If you are feeling adventurous and want to experience some amazing Mexican food, give this place a try. Service is meh and decor is ok but the food makes up for it.

Personally and being honest one of the best places to get REAL TACOS Mexican style…. I fell in love with Tacos de tripa (handmade tortillas) very tasty sauces and nopales, it was so good! Reasonable prices even for tacos came bigger than the regular size, nice customer service. They don’t have too much space so I recommend it take outs specially on weekends. Huge variety of dishes…. Carnitas tacos and Campechanos both are delicious, pancita soup (Menudo) same thing just exquisite. I hope you can try Taqueria Puebla…. I’m pretty sure you won’t be disappointed.

I can't help but keep coming back to Taqueria Puebla, a true HIDDEN GEM that never disappoints. My latest visit had me savoring the irresistible Gorditadas Campechano (a delightful blend of steak and pork). The crispy tortilla shell was perfect - so crunchy! They really know how to balance everything. The gorditas were full and the mix of steak and pork was just right. What made it amazing was the cheesy goodness. It wasn't just a little cheese - it was a lot! It made every bite so rich and yummy. And when you add the spicy red sauce, it kicks it up a notch. The mix of flavors was just perfect. Been here twice. Their tortas were good and a very generous portion. Had the chicken milenese and the campechano. Both were good but I thought the chicken was better. Second time I got take out ordering a torta and a half a chicken with rice, beans, and tortillas. Easily could have fed four people for $26. A very good bargain.

Definitely will be revisiting this location to try more of their entrees. I decided to get pupusas, and a steak & cheese as a backup plan. The cheese steak & fries was good, but the pupusas was absolutely delicious & not dried out like the ones 7-11 has from time to time.
