Taqueria Los Güeros

The food is put together sloppily, the quesadillas aren't crispy at all... It's almost as if they were microwaved with bland white chicken on the inside. Tacos are always sloppily packed so that they're falling apart when you open the box. Plus they always forget at least part of your order if not half of it. Tonight they forgot my tostadas, The pico de gallo which I had to pay $250 for( (which is a joke ). The best part is when you call to tell them that they forgot part of your order, and to see if they can make it right, this is what you hear "No English". That's right, not one single person in the restaurant speaks enough English to speak to a customer on the phone. WILL NEVER EAT HERE AGAIN. I ordered tacos and this is what the avocado slices looked like. I understand that avocados sometimes have dark spots but this was literally rotten. I’m not the type to write reviews and bash on someone’s business but this was unacceptable. They served me something that should have been thrown away long ago.

The fish tacos are the absolute top pick—perfectly cooked, flavorful, and honestly unforgettable. I wish I had taken pictures because they were that good. The tacos al pastor were also excellent, full of rich flavor and clearly made with care. The chicken tacos were more on the average side, but even then, the overall experience was elevated by Lazaro, the cook, who brings heart and skill to everything coming off the grill. You can taste the passion in the food. Definitely a spot worth returning to—especially for those fish tacos. 🌮

For the past few weeks I have been trying, Taqueria Los Gueros, for lunch. It really is a solid 4 stars. I typically get their Veggie Tacos, and/or Chorizo Burrito Bowls. On this instance, I tried their, Chilangos Tacos w/ Carnitas & Al Pastor. They were pretty good. The meats tasted fairly dull, but the vegetable toppings were really fresh. The veggies brought out the flavor of the meats. The lady who took my order at this location was fantastic! Extremely helpful! From this experiment utilizing various locations, I can’t say I’d highly recommend this place. But if you ever pass a, Taqueria Los Gueros, and you are looking for some decent tasting tacos at a reasonable price, def try this place. Their salsa picante is very delicious with their meals.

I honestly don’t understand how this place is passing off what they serve as “street tacos.” The chicken tacos tasted like they were made from Costco rotisserie chicken pulled apart and tossed onto ShopRite-quality soggy tortillas. The chicken had absolutely no flavor, bland, dry, and disappointing. Quite literally the worst street taco I’ve ever had. On top of that, the so-called “30 for $30” deal is a complete rip-off. The quality doesn’t even come close to being worth the price. If you’re looking for authentic tacos, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.
