Taqueria Los Gallos

Delicious authentic tacos and an awesome salsa bar with free chips! I had a soup that wasn’t on the menu (I saw someone else eating it) and it was loaded with crispy chicken meat and burst with flavor. My favorite taco was the buche (pork belly) and lengua. The horchata was very good and the staff very friendly. Highly recommend.

Place is located in a quiet area but busy road. Restaurant has lots of seating, we had no trouble deciding on where to sit. We ordered our food at the counter and it was brought out in about 10 minutes. Let me just tell you it was very delicious. The beans definitely tasted like they came out of the olla.

This new Los Gallos location in Boulder Creek has been a dream come true for our little town in the woods. We finally have amazing Mexican food! The chips are to die for as is the pico de gallo. The shrimp are always fresh and plump and tasty. The super veggie burrito is supremely delicious. I like to add rice and shrimp to it. They also have a great soda fountain and selection of drinks. And the front staff is always so friendly and welcoming. Thank you, Los Gallos for serving us amazing food with a smile ❤️😋

After we finished our meals, my partner and I had to sit back for 10 minutes to collect ourselves - that’s how much this food blew our minds. The meats were cooked perfect as could be, the portions generous, the prices reasonable, and the staff were kind. We came from out of town and had a flight to catch the next morning, but were checking their hours with the hope of coming back for another meal before we leave!

I stopped here quite randomly was going for a drive from San Francisco to Santa Cruz. I ordered 2 soft fish tacos – it was massive! And super tasty. It came with four soft tacos and enough fish to fill at least that many. Great value and would recommend it for a Mexican fix for anyone driving though this way.
