Taqueria Familiar

Tried the carne asada plate and caldo de res. The carne asada was decent — grilled well and came with rice, beans, and salad. The beef soup had a nice flavor, though not a lot of veggies. Overall good, just a bit on the expensive side for what you get.

This was by far one of the best fajitas plates I've had since moving to the Bay Area. This place is truly authentic. The rice and beans were flavorful. I plan to return to try other dishes. This establishment was very clean. The service was prompt and the cashier offered suggestions that were helpful.

Mexican food is bomb.com and the service was wonderful. Eat here if you want good food and homemade tortillas!!

Everything is great at this restaurant. Nice delicious beef soup. Great nachos. The sauce in the sauce bottle is a little spicy if you like that but that's okay. Homemade tortillas and it's delicious. The people who work here are very nice. The atmosphere is great.

Two sisters prepare authentic dishes. Their English isn't perfect but that only adds up to the authenticity of the place! The cook stepped outside to the row of herbs growing just outside to pick up fresh herbs. Not easy to find, but very worth the trouble. We weren't very hungry and ordered just super tacos: pescado, Pollo y al pastor. Plus horchata. All delisious. Street parking ple tiful on Sunday evening.
