Don’t believe the low rating (3.7 at the time of this review). It kept me from trying this place sooner. My mistake! This place is very, very good! I stopped in, got an Al Pastor and a carnitas taco. The Al pastor was so well seasoned and the pineapple really capped off an amazing flavor profile! The carnitas were tender, ever so slightly fatty, which I’m not typically fond of, but this was the right amount of meat to fat composition. All around, I look forward to returning to this place many, many more times. Not to throw shade, but earlier in the week I tried the new Taco Mar almost literally across the street, El Chavo holds the crown in Chadds Ford for Mexican food!!

Delicious! Been looking for a good, local, Mexican spot and we definitely found it!! Came in for dinner on a Saturday, everyone working was so friendly, portions were very generous and everything came out so quickly! Can’t wait to come back and try more items on the menu!

Stopped by on a whim driving by, and I am so glad we found this place. Tiny spot that has a lot of character. The people working there were so friendly. Everything was super fresh, even the agua Fresca was made to order. Excellent food!

Wow… this place is GOOD! Without a doubt, some of the best tacos I have ever had. They were definitely spicy, but every bite was delicious. I got the Carne Asada, chicharron, and carnitas. Prices were fair! I can’t wait to come back! 10/10 must try!!

The food was out of this world. So authentic, high quality and fresh. I ate there with my nephew and brother in law. Both of them loved their food too. My brother in law who is a bit of a foodie was blown away by the shrimp appetizer. My burrito was perfect. All of the meat served whether it was chicken, pork or beef was juicy and tender. And the mango shake...... I can't stop thinking about it. Service was friendly and fast. I wish I could give more than 5 stars. I will be back.
