I've been Ordering Camarones Rancheros at this Restaurant for about a yr now, and today was the first time we actually Sat at a Table and Ate! I always Order our Food to go! And also this was the 1st time we eat Breakfast at Cortez Taqueria! And it did not disappoint, I ordered the Huevos Rancheros for myself. And omg the Rice the Beans and The Sauce was so Delicious!!! I almost wanted to Lick the Plate it was so Good, yeah the Husband doesn't like it when I try to do that. He Ordered the Breakfast Enchiladas (it's a Cheese Enchilada)Also Very Delicious!! For Both our Plates a Coffee and a Soda we Paid $22 and change! Not Bad at all for some very delicious food, I would have paid more at McDonalds and it be mediocre! So if you are Around Salinas,CA definitely give this Place a Try!

I ordered a regular burrito here around 11:30am not too busy I was quick in & out. The burrito was fantastic for its price about the length of a forearm. The rice is soft & fluff, the beans are delicious and the meat.. Juicy & flavorful, the tortilla is not burnt or microwave cooked, it seems to be flipped on a pan perfect. The burrito was almost perfect if only there was more meat in it. But that's just me, a size fluffy if you know what i mean. Definitely next time I'm in the area for work I'll know where to go for lunch. Also the salsa it came with was rich with flavor & spice could go up a few levels but for people non spice lovers it's perfect in my opinion

Food is average, but the staff is friendly and family owned, which is always a plus for me, and the atmosphere, especially during Karaoke night, is amazing. The place is a little on the small side, though, so it may feel a little crowded at times even when the place isn't packed. I will say, though, you definitely feel like part of the family in this place. Yes, the food can be better, but it's not bad at all.

BEST TACOS EVER!! Don't ever come here they will rob you I got 3 super burritos but they didn't had no guacamole no cream no rice and beans and I ordered 3 tacos that came with no onions or celantro no limes and two tacos didn't came with meat that I ordered and I paid 47 dollars, A rip off never come here. Don't believe me check on the photo that i posted.
