Been looking for some chilaquilles that my wife would find savory. Came across Tauearte and what a superb find. The chilaquilles were some of the best I've had and the wife was satisfied. The quesadilla was really good and the green/red sauce made it extra good. Maybe the staff was overwhelmed so I'll give them a break, but honestly I almost left even though we had already ordered. Pro tip get there early cause the seating area is small and the line gets long. The parking lot is also small I parked on the street. The bakery associated with the restaurant has good pan dulce [had better] but it's good for a sweet treat after the meal.

I visited for the 1st time this place and it is truly a 10 out of 10. The best chilaquiles I have tasted. They are the exact crunch as chilaquiles should be and i chose them spicy with my side meat choice of chorizo (longaniza) 😋. I also tried their cheese chicharon, amazing! I highly recommend. Their aguas frescas are in the machine but they are house made and delicious. They also offer self serve coffee. You choose regular brew or the cafe de olla 🤯😋. No wait, however I did dine on a weekday.

We visited Taquearte in Los Angeles, California to try what many consider the best chilaquiles in the United States, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. The chilaquiles are made completely from scratch using fresh, high-quality ingredients, and you can truly taste the difference. Delicious chilaquiles. The Queca (quesadilla) was also phenomenal. Everything tastes homemade (which it is if you peer into kitchen when you go use restroom). To top it all off you can go to their bakery and grab something sweet. The 3 flavor concha was the best I’ve had.

Nice place to eat. We went for the chilaquiles! Super delicious. You can pick if you want them spicy or not. I got the red spicy ones with beef steak and my husband got the green spicy ones with eggs. We came to an agreement that the green ones had better flavor. The portions are big enough for one person. We also had aguas frescas (Jamaica and Pepino w/ Limon). They also have a panadería. The wait time was about 30 minutes so we could be seated and for the food to be served was about 10 minutes. There are also options of tacos or other dishes but those are served after midday.
