Tapyorka

This fairly new Brazilian juice bar and café recently popped up on my radar. This little section of Astoria is home to quite a few Brazilian businesses, so it feels like the perfect spot for a place like this. The space itself is small with just a few tables, but the cool murals, floor-to-ceiling windows, and layout make it feel bright and inviting. Their menu offers coffee, juices, smoothies, savory snacks, desserts, and light bites. I ordered three types of empanadas: Pastel de Carne Moída (ground beef), Pastel de Frango (chicken), and Pastel de Presunto e Queijo (ham and cheese), for $4.99 each. Although the menu listed them as empanadas, to me they looked more like deep-fried envelopes (but in a good way). They were shaped in a rectangle and quite large. The crust was thin and crispy

Friendly staff with smiles, their cheese bread are fresh, Delicious, and chewy. I had their flan over chocolate Bundt cake and it was delicious. (Perfectly sweetened that leaves you craving for more) Welcome to Astoria !!!

Great new Brazilian juice bar and cafe!! They have such nice artwork on the walls! There is a noce assortment of some desserts and cakes. I tried this passion fruit dessert and it was so delicious. They are very new and still setting things up. Looking forward to stopping by again soon.

I visited Tapyorka during my trip to New York, and the experience was outstanding. Pedro and Natalia delivered exceptional service. warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The food was incredibly fresh and flavorful, clearly prepared with high-quality ingredients and great attention to detail. I’ll definitely return to Tapyorka on my next visit to New York. Highly recommended.
