Public Service Announcement Best BBQ in Simi! Owners really know what they're cooking, from the exact temps and cook time for each specific meat or chicken! Beef ribs are tasty and slide right off the bone! Pork ribs are yummy and slide right off! Brisket is mouth watering, pulled pork is soft and delicious tri-tip is one of the best I've had! Potato salad is unique and very flavorful along with the pickles!! I'm so glad I finally got to try this place, I ordered a sample platter of all the meats, was very impressed and satisfied, it's been sold out/closed both times I attempted to before! This will be my go to for authentic BBQ- which by the way is made in house as well! Ambiance is chill, no seating but that's not the point! Most definitely recommend! Service is personable and auth

I have travel to Kansas City, Texas Memphis pretty much all around the world and tried barbecue. I’m a barbecue Enthusiast this one place I came across in Simi valley called tapo bbq on tapo st was one of the best places I have tried everything is made in house and Tasted so good. Their meat is delicious and slow smoked. Their sides are all handmade in house and have delicious flavor. By far, the best barbecue I’ve ever had and I’ve traveled everywhere. The two chefs there are very skilled and smoking meat.I recommend this place to anyone

I was missing a good family barbecue place. there is no good barbecue anymore in this town that Is not commercial or corrupt with nepotism, and now I found one, when you go in here, you'll probably talk to the owner. his name is Marvin. serving up delicious food. I walked in looking for pork and mac and cheese and he just created this bowl for me. tender pulled pork delicious barbecue sauce on a thick fluffy bed of mac and cheese. made to order, killer prices, half a chicken with two sides and a drink for $16 !!!. that's a Steal !. go check it out. ask for Marvin. tell him Josh sent you, if he kicks you out, go back in tell him you don't actually know me, and get some Delicious beef ribs or pork or brisket? barbecue chicken. it doesn't even matter. it's all very good and well priced

This is the real deal. Best bbq in Ventura county. I wish I could buy stock in this Simi Valley business. Not only is the food exceptional but the service is top notch. It all started on a sunny Simi morning, I heard the buzz and stopped by. This place is soo great there is line running out the door. Long story short...by the time it was my turn to order they were sold out. I was lil hangry and probably not the politest guy at that point.
