The food and drinks were incredible! There was a hit of a wait time during service but my partner and I came during a rush. Their new Ramen Bowl was phenomenal!

My husband and I visited this location a long number of years back. At that time, the menu was odd, it was 'this is what chef is making today", and it didn't thrill us. We've stuck to our favorites in Somerville each week there, until now! lol We recently picked up a Somerset County Brewery and Distillery passport booklet. We need to get it stamped at each location and this was on the list. We wanted to get out of the house on Saturday night and decided to give it a try. We, of course, looked up the menu and were pleasantly surprised by the offerings. We made online reservations for 5:30, outside. Fair warning, they have a $10.00 per person on the reservation charge if you cancel with less than 2 hours notice. So you have to reserve with a credit card. We parked in the municipal lot adjace

We went here for a birthday celebration. Right off the bat, the ambience is super cool. Quiet and lounge like describe this restaurant. There’s music but it’s barely audible in a good way. Service was good. We ordered the duck fat fries and shrimp and chroizo to start. Wow the fries were delicious with a crazy surprise of smoked ketchup. For entrees we got the hot honey chicken pizza (daily special) and the build your own burger. Both were stupendous. So uncommon to have a burger cooked a correct medium rare, but they did it. The dessert, the stout brownie was the fluffiest most jiggly brownie I’ve ever had. Delicious. We also ordered the smoke show cocktail which wasn’t really our style. I won’t hold that against them. I’ve been here several times for dinner over the past few years and also once for brunch, and always have had a great experience. They have a few outside tables but seating is primarily in the downstairs, which has more of a cocktail lounge feel to it. On that note they do have an extensive list of beers and cocktails. I started with the Opportunity Hunterdon Haze which was an easy to drink IPA with a deceptively high ABV. Highly recommend to anyone that likes hazy IPAs. I also copied my buddy and got the Back to school New Fashioned which the waitress described as a PBJ drink. I really enjoyed it but my friend thought it was too sweet. Great food and drinks in a cozy basement setting. The menu is creative and diverse (both food and cocktails). Really tasty small plates and entree sizes. Everything is great for sharing!
