Tao Rice Roll

Is a very small place with few tables. Obviously, is designed for take out. The foods looks attractive but nothing really stand out come to the taste. The Xiao Long Bao is pretty good. The Salty Soy Milk totally tasteless, not even a hint os salty at all.

When I went to buy lunch at noon, the service staff had a bad attitude. I bought a fried dough stick, soy milk and rice balls. I didn't expect that my stomach began to feel uncomfortable after eating. I don't know if it's because of the freshness of the food or something else, but I won't come again. The taste is also lower than that of the Shugrand store. If it weren't for the proximity, I would never come to the China City store.

Great spot to get Taiwanese comfort foods including rice rolls, soups and snacks. This is my go to place for Sesame Pancake with green onion egg and fried dough stick. The dough stick is prepared perfectly and the sesame pancake is super flaky. Very popular place on the weekends.

Not what I was expecting. Tastes like a pork bun roll but on rice instead. Bacon roll, had a sweet bbq sauce, bacon,lettuce ,& pork floss. Sausage roll, had sausage and pork floss. Sesame pancake, had thin scrambled egg with green onion & some sort of bread stick. The sesame pancake wrap was super flaky! $20 for 3 rolls

Almost felt like I was transported to an alleyway in Taipei. Authentic Taiwanese breakfast cuisine. Sure the ambience isn’t quite there and while they don’t necessarily focus on service, you’re there for the incredible food - and that they have in plenty. Scallion pancakes, hot sweetened soy milk w fried dough, chicken soup and of course, their rolls. Easy 5 stars!
