This is easily one of the absolute best North Indian restaurants in this part of town. Every dish was incredibly flavorful and beautifully prepared, the portions are very generous, and the ambience is warm and inviting. We have also ordered catering from them before, and our guests absolutely loved every single item. Consistently outstanding food and service—highly recommended!

Outstanding North Indian Flavors — Especially the Mutton Tandoor truly impressed me, especially with dishes that are notoriously hard to get right in the U.S. If you’re someone who genuinely knows and appreciates authentic Indian flavors, this place stands out. I tried the mutton korma, chicken malai boti kebab, and grabbed some chai to go—and the mutton korma alone is worth the visit. I can confidently say this is the best mutton curry I’ve had in a long time in the U.S., and trust me, I’ve had mutton at hundreds of places over the years. The flavor instantly reminded me of authentic preparations you’d find in certain parts of India—rich, deeply spiced, and incredibly well-balanced. We visited after seeing several good reviews and really liked the ambience. the decor is vibrant and the overall vibe is great. We ordered the half chicken karahi, which had a beautiful presentation, but unfortunately it was very oily. While the menu mentions it serves 2–3 people, there was hardly any masala/gravy to enjoy with naan. A bit more gravy instead of oil would have made a big difference. The chicken korma had a good amount of gravy, but the cardamom flavor was overpowering and didn’t taste like a typical korma. A Must-Visit Pakistani Gem in Cedar Park! I recently visited Tandoor by Kababque in Cedar Park after seeing all the buzz online, and I’m happy to say it lived up to the hype! If you are looking for authentic Pakistani flavors in the Austin area, this is the spot. • Chicken Karahi: This was my first time trying a Karahi, and it was absolutely mind-blowing. The presentation was a total standout—they served it with a heated coal right on the table, which kept the dish piping hot and sizzling throughout the entire meal. • Chai: We finished with the chai, which was excellent. Visited Tandoor by Kababeque around 5:30 PM and had such a great experience! As am a Chai explorer - I ordered the “Chai for 2” ($3.99) and absolutely loved it. The chai was rich, aromatic, and perfectly spiced and the presentation was beautiful. Served in a traditional chenak on a mini wooden charpai tray with two Parle-G biscuits — such a nostalgic and thoughtful Pakistani/desi touch. Little details like that make the experience special. The ambience is peaceful and vibrant, with colorful décor, umbrellas hanging from the ceiling, warm lighting, and the neon “All Is Well” sign that instantly sets a cozy mood. Service was quick and polite as well. I’ll definitely be coming back soon to try their food .. if the chai alone is this impressive, the rest of the menu is probably outstanding t
