Tandoor of India Fairport NY

My wife and I went here for the lunch buffet. The hostess and servers were pleasant and welcoming. The food was spicy with just the right amount of heat. There are both vegetarian and meat selections. Fresh Naan was offered and delivered warm and delicious. The cost was very reasonable.

This is our go to indian buffet. Friendly and attentive service and the buffet always has something my whole family likes. They have a good variety so every time we come, it’s different enough. I feel like this place has gone up in quality since we started coming!

A beautiful and well stocked variety of food on the dinner buffet. Quality of chicken and shrimp was excellent. However, the sauces and flavors were lacking and had a diluted quality about them. I have had Indian food in many places for many years and this stuff was not up to par. Food that could have been great but falls short on authentic flavors and intensity. Very pleasant staff and dining room. Maybe their menu choices hold up better than the buffet offerings.

My husband and I came here on one of our very first dates over 10 years ago, and we still love it just as much! Food and service is always amazing, and as a vegetarian there are always lots of options for myself. Highly recommend!

I didn't know Tandoor had a Fairport location. I went looking online yesterday afternoon for a buffet other than the 3+ star ones that have plenty of food but are not for me. I am very glad that I discovered this restaurant, and will be back many times. The food was great! The buffet items were all high quality and fresh. I was able to sample several dishes that I'd heard of but never tasted. The level of spice for me was just right. Very much present but not overpowering. Service was prompt and friendly. I'll definitely be back.
