Tamu Tamu Refreshments

A sweet treat for any Animal Kingdom day! Came here to try the Pineapple Upside-Down Sundae. Aside from the traditional Dole Whip that you can find here, this dessert looked and sounded different so I had to try it! The cast member service was great as always. Fun and pleasant to interact with. The sundae itself was really good! The sweetness of the vanilla ice cream paired very well with the soft crumb of the cake. The cake itself wasn't warm - it was more room temperature. So, if you are looking for that 'cold and hot' sensation, you won't find that here. But dont get me wrong, the cake was still fresh. The caramel topping with the strusel added another layer of flavour and texture that really rounded this treat out. If you are in Animal Kingdom and looking for a solid, go-to treat,

We had been looking for pineapple ice cream to enjoy at the end of our day. Fortunately, we discovered this refreshing place. Everything was delicious! The highlight was definitely the Pineapple Crisp Sundae! 😋

LOVE Dole Whip. Floats are good and the pineapple sundae is delicious. Can’t go wrong here. No seating or place to stand and eat.

After getting into the park and beelining it for Flights of Passage to beat the crowd, we had a late breakfast here. The line moved pretty quickly and while my wife made our orders, I found a seat around the corner in a covered alcove. This was a great place to sit in the shade and enjoy it, so get your food and go either around the corner from the line or right down the wall. Either has an entrance into this shady spot. The Pistachio Croissant was ok, I hear. It was not overly sweet and was pretty light and bready. The Mickey Cinnamon Roll was pretty good, though. Topped off with an Irish coffee, a good start to our day!
