Tammy's Diner

I have eaten at Tammy‘s many times. This was the first time since she reopened. I was there around noon on the day after New Year’s Day. The place was as about as busy as it gets. I only had to wait a few minutes to be seated. I had the catfish with green beans, coleslaw, and fried cornbread. I normally don’t eat green beans, but I wanted to try something different at Tammy‘s. They were phenomenal! I never get excited about beans, but these were really good! The catfish was perfect and the coleslaw and cornbread were very good too. The service was excellent. My server was very attentive and friendly, and so was Tammy when she brought my food out. I love the small town atmosphere of this restaurant and I always have. I had breakfast here two mornings, Tammy is very pleasant, and fast service, excellent food. For under $10 you can get a full breakfast and unlimited coffee. I highly recommend this location. My only regret was not getting lunch, dinner here.

Went for lunch, I had the ham steak breakfast and the wife had the chicken fried steak. Both entrees were delicious, the coleslaw and potato salad were the bomb! The 3 stars for service is because they are short people to work, and it took 45 mins to get our food. I definitely recommend Tammy's! The food is outstanding!

Weirdest country cooking I've ever had. Fried potatoes were just bizarre. Bone dry. Shoe leather color. Rubbery. No taste. Ham slice had a palm sized bone in it. Biscuit was dense and chewy not fluffy. Service was incredibly slow. Best thing about this place is that the prices are crazy cheap. But I guess you get what you pay for.

I am never disappointed eating at Tammy's Diner. it's friendly and cozy and the food has always been amazing. the portions are great and the prices can't be beat. it is real, home cooked food and makes me feel like I'm back at home in the holler every time I eat here. can't speak enough good about this place.
