if you’re black or even dark skinned, don’t go. you’ll get treated like shit no matter how nice you are. they whispered in front of my mom then started being super rude to her and treated her bluntly for no reason. made up lies saying they didn’t have tamales verdes even though they did and tried to get her to buy rojos and even when she did, they were badly wrapped and completely messed up basically giving her the trash tamales they don’t sell to costumers. giving them a chance, every time she went in, they would look at her with disgusted expressions for literally no reason. today she went to get some tamales for christmas. the girl inside was nice until the old lady whispered something to her. the girl came back and acted so rude to my mom. my mom never cries and today she did once she

The tamales weren't that good, the tamales where a good size, however, there was way more masa then chicken. The chicken was dry, even my family said that the chicken was dry without me asking. Everyone in the family agreed that the jalapeno and cheese tamales we're nasty.

Tamaleria Maria’s is the BEST!!!! Next menudo, tamales, coricos, champurrado, burritos... honestly, whatever you get, you’ll be completely satisfied 😋🔥 Highly recommend this restaurant and their friendly staff!
