Tallent Sausage

I haven't been to Tallent Sausage in 17 years. Shopping here is a pleasant atmosphere & the food is amazing. I also bought the Black-Eyed Pea Dip. And The Hot Chow Chow!!! Every Person On This Planet So Buy Some Of This Exceptionally Seasoned Food, I love spicy myself...They Have Whatever You Have A Taste For.

Absolutely worth the drive from Houston! Their pulled pork sandwich was DELICIOUS and their venison sausages are amazing. We decided to try the peppered pork loin and we were NOT disappointed. Definitely understand why they've won so many awards. HIGHLY recommend.

This place was awesome. I really enjoyed the nostalgic feeling I had when I was there. I ordered a slice beef sandwich, but sadly, they were out of that, so I had settled for the chopped beef sandwich. It wasn't bad. It just wasn't what I wanted. While that was being prepared, I went and grabbed me a pound of hoghead cheese from the butcher. That took me back to my childhood when my grandmother would give us that as a snack on until the meal she was preparing was finished. Whenever I'm in the area, I will be back for something else.

Great place they have a meat market and grocery. You can get a bbq sandwich . And find a sausage flavor you like from the large selection. You can get large packages of sausage, chicken, steak, and other meats.

The slices beef was dry. The meat wasn't flavorful. The German sausage was good and had flavor. Only 3 sides to pick from and the potato salad was very plain tasting as well. The beans were ok, had some flavor to them. $30 for 1 meat plate and 2 meat plate.
