Talbot St. Tavern

We stopped in for a drink to watch a Sunday game and met the owner/chef. After speaking with him about one of his specials of the day and offering to make it for us thee next evening we made a reservation for the following day. We shared the Lobster tempura appetizer which was delicious then shared a broiled seafood platter over risotto which was cooked perfectly and the crab & shrimp fried rice. A perfect last meal during our stay in St. Michael’s.

We love Talbot Street Tavern. Jason at the bar is very personable, the beer is ice cold and the food is consistently great! The Crab & Shrimp Fried Rice is our go to - it’s amazing! Cheers to Chef Mauricio - we’ll be back again soon!

Decent restaurant. The swordfish was delicious as were the brussels. The coleslaw tasted like it was sort of on its way to spoiling so we didn’t eat it but the portion sizes of everything were big and plenty. The spinach salad was very fresh. Initially they brought me out chicken as my protein but I told the food runner I don’t eat meat and had ordered the crabcake so she quickly fixed the mistake. The crabcake had plenty of crab meat and little filler but it was slightly undercooked so I just ate around the undercooked areas. Overall it had good flavor.

this restaurant had unique and delicious choices to order with great service. we ordered the ahi tuna and pretzel appetizer with the lobster mac and cheese, short rib, and salmon entree. all of these dishes came in nice portions and pretty flavorful.

The staff here is beyond amazing!!! We were staying by on a Sunday evening and didn't realize all the restaurants close by 9. After making a few calls the bartender at Talbots said he could have our meal ready when we got there since their kitchen was closing in a few minutes. When we arrived he was so welcoming and got us our drinks and dinner. The short ribs and crab & shrimp fried rice was delicious. He made great suggestions and saved from getting take out pizza from out of town. Even the Chef came out to check how we enjoyed our dinner. The staff was very friendly & I would 100% recommend going there if you are in St.Michaels
