Customer Reviews
Dimly lit, quiet ramen spot at the very top of the best of the best ramen bowls and broth in the city. Flavorful as all hell and the spicy here actually means spicy lol. The service was great, the staff was very attentive and rounded frequently. Also: three bowls, an order of gyoza dumplings, a boba, and a ramune all came out to be almost $25 cheaper than other establishments with similar (high) quality ramen. Can't wait to stop by again
I went to this ramen place yesterday and it was really impressive! The broth was rich and flavorful, and the noodles had the perfect texture. What surprised me the most was the appetizer — beautifully presented and full of flavor, you can tell the chef really pays attention to the details. The whole dining experience was comfortable and pleasant, and the service was warm and attentive. I’ll definitely come back again!
Great service. We tried a few appetizers and they were okay. Ramen: I ordered the spicy miso ramen—it was a little salty and not spicy at all. Atmosphere: The vibe is great; I love the style and décor. Overall: Not a wow for me, to be honest. Would I come back? No.
This is hands down the best restaurant I’ve tried in Chicago. The tonkotsu ramen is outstanding — the broth is rich, deep, and full of flavor without being overpowering. The fried dishes are also excellent: incredibly fresh, with a super crispy exterior that stays light and never greasy. For dessert, my favorite is the matcha. Unlike many Japanese restaurants where matcha desserts can be overly sweet, this one is refreshing, well-balanced, and smooth, with none of the bitterness. It’s perfect even for people who don’t usually like sweets. The service is warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, which makes the whole experience even better. This place is truly a hidden gem, and I can’t wait to share it with more friends. Highly recommended!
This place used to be where S.K.Y.Y was. I think that’s where the issue is, expectation became too high. Decided to try their tonkotsu ramen The soup broth is a little bit blend. However the pork belly and the egg was yummy. Fried oyster This was okay. Scallop with vermicelli garlic and soy sauce This was delicious especially if you like garlic Skewers The skewers were probably the only thing that was delicious out of the whole meal. It may seem that this restaurant may be related or collaborating with Uni Uni. The drinks were only okay. Ordered the hot jasmine green tea milk tea. It was watered down, not enough tea flavor. Did not leave with cup.
