Takibi

Good food, great service. The rice they use has a slight sweetness to it. Doesn't matter if it's in the sushi or in the bowls, it's slightly sweet. Really good portion sizes. Great for dates. The bulgogi kimbop sushi is a must have.

This small, intimate spot is a true find. The sushi is so fresh and delicious. The oyster fries were tasty, though they could have used a bit less dough. The complimentary cinnamon tea adds a warm, cozy touch, and the dried persimmon with walnuts is a delightful, sweet finish. The ramen looked fantastic, so I’ll definitely try it on my next visit. The atmosphere is cute and inviting, and it’s BYOB.

Haven’t ever dined in here, usually order takeout, but today’s experience was even tastier!! The sushi chef and server/sous were both wonderfully friendly and welcoming. The sushi rolls were delicious and refreshingly cooling after a long day at the lakefront. Their spicy tuna roll is perfectly sauced, and the avocado is always creamy fresh and beautiful. Their miso soup tastes more chicken-y than I’m accustomed too, but it was actually quite good. We also ordered avocado and cucumber maki rolls, and a shrimp tempura roll that comes with sweet potatoes and veggies — so solid! And we tried their Korean beef bowl, which we could only take a few bites of because we ordered more food than we realized. Yay, leftovers!!

The restaurant was absolutely amazing! Best sashimi I’ve ever had. All of the food was delicious, and the staff were so friendly. We loved being there for our friend’s birthday celebration. The owner and staff were so kind when we had a large party of 12 which took up a good majority of the seats. All meals were served in a great and timely manner. Plus platting was very pretty and atmosphere was fun!

This place is really excellent! The food is thoughtfully prepared, it balances flavors well, and does the classics well while doing new and exciting dishes. Inside is so cute and the service was wonderful. The dishes are aesthetically presented. It makes for a great date night, girls night, sushi night. I’m so glad this opened.
