Takami (Fine Thai & Sushi Kitchen)

My son and I went there for a quick sushi bite. And it was so good. We sat at the sushi bar and ordered a couple rolls. Sushi chef gave us a complimentary Kani Su salad which is one of my favorites. The chef even put our couple rolls on the sushi boat to make my son happy it was very sweet. Everyone there was friendly and seemed happy to be there. It had a very family friendly vibe. I can’t wait to try the other things in the menu other than sushi.

Ok so before I tried this place I did read all the reviews good and bad. The place is very cozy. I loved the artwork on the walls. I have to say that the flavors and presentation of the food was pretty good for the area. I went in not expecting to much. Its definitely a family run restaurant and there was one lady doing it all minus the cooking. The price was a little high for the portions but definitely wasn't a deal breaker. I will definitely go back if I'm in the area.

Absolute 10/10. Before even getting our food the atmosphere was so calming and welcoming, noticeably beautiful decorations and dishware. The service was exceptionally good, our server was kind and attentive and made the experience even better. Me and my mom went and had two of the noodle dishes, almost brought me to tears it was so flavorful and customizable with a lot of different delectable textures. There was so much on the menu including a plethora of sushi which I have got to come back to try. To top it all off the Vietnamese coffee and thai iced tea were just perfect, and even served with a flower. It wasn't too busy when we went around lunch time, I hope more people come to find how great this new place is. Couldn't recommend more!!

We had a great time at Takami, and the food was even better than expected. Awesome flavors and presentation, and there are plenty of options for everyone on the menu. One woman was running the whole table service but she wasn’t stressed (visibly) and set our expectations well for wait times. We will definitely be back!

We love supporting new local spots, so my husband and I checked out Takami in Beverly tonight—and it did not disappoint! The menu is extensive, with Thai, Japanese, and Vietnamese options—truly something for everyone. We started with the Thai chicken wings and fried Brussels sprouts. The wings were perfectly crisp on the outside, juicy on the inside, and served piping hot. The Brussels sprouts were a standout (I’m a sucker for a good fried sprout), and both dipping sauces were excellent. For our mains, we shared two sushi rolls and an eel dish that came with miso soup and salad—everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented.
