Taj Mediterranean Mezze and Grill

I went here because I'm used to one in Stamford that I absolutely love and was too far away. First turn off, when walking in there is a very dirty black table that sits by the glass window on the left side of the room. I said ok, "it's not the food". When I reached the counter the lettuce had so many brown pieces. When I did order, sans lettuce of course. The food failed in comparison to the one in Stamford. Tasteless chicken and red sauce so hot you couldn't eat. Normally I love the spicy red sauce because it has this awesome flavor that enhances the food though its super spicy. Visited Taj Stamford on Fathers Day and it was an incredible experience. The drinks, appetizers, entrees was top notch. I would especially give 7 stars to the service. The staff was amazing! We ordered the lavender drink, mango django drink, El nino and they came out looking as if we were in the caribbean. Would 100% recommend this restaurant.

Highly recommend! Have been waiting for this place to open!! The food is fresh and delicious with dietary restrictions snd vegetarian options!! SO great for our neighborhood to a mix of AFFORDABLE different middle eastern foods for take-out and eat-in. Will definitely return. The chicken shwarma was so good I forgot to take a photo!!

Just been for lunch and had the chicken over rice. It was huge. Amazing value for money and tasted really good too. Will definitely be making this a regular lunch spot and looking forward to trying other food there too.

This place is great! Ordered a chicken shawarma wrap and everything was delicious and fresh. Good amount of food and definitely will be back again!! Pic was the last quarter of the wrap because I was hungry 😋
