great spot for authentic Lebanese food! The dishes are fresh, flavorful, and Everything tasted homemade and well-seasoned. The grilled platter was excellent — juicy, well-seasoned, and perfectly cooked. The batata harra was crispy, spicy, and full of flavor. Authentic Lebanese taste done right. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the staff were friendly and attentive. A perfect place for a delicious and comforting Lebanese meal! Definitely worth coming back!

I just visited the town of Paterson for the second time, and I had Lebanese cuisine on Lebanese Independence Day today for the first time. On this very day, the Republic of Lebanon gained its independence from France eighty-two years ago and I thought about celebrating this occasion in Paterson. I learned about this place yesterday and I am abundantly elated on account of dining here today. The Taj Lebanese Cuisine restaurant was a delight to enter for the first time. Initially, the place was quiet today and after an hour, there was company. I found the Arabic Black tea, the tabbouleh salad, the full (cooked fava beans) with olive oil, and the yellow Lebanese rice with garlic. Happy Independence Day to Lebanon!

If you’re gonna order entrée from here, pick the sautéed vegetables as a side! A lot of the Lebanese places around here don’t offer that side and it’s like the best thing ever. But as you can see my bf ordered wrong so I didn’t get my veggies here that’s why there’s rice lol. However, the fries are gross. Definitely get the pistachio pudding. The chocolate mousse is a no. The toem sauce is good here. The falafel is delicious. The Lebneh is delicious. The hummus is delicious. But I’ve noticed with these restaurants like and they’re all next to each other so it’s like I’ll get an order here but I always gotta go to Beirut to get french fries because I don’t understand why you nobody makes good fries like Beirut or Yasmeen. Would I order here again? Yes I always do because the sautéed veggies

This place has the BEST family platter in terms of quantity, quality, and price. This has been my favorite Baterson restaurant for the past 4 years, I prefer it over Abu Rass and Darna (even Al Basha but only as a personal preference) because Taj CONSISTENTLY cooks and seasons all their food perfectly (their shish is ALWAYS tender-you can literally bite the lahma in half, their food is never dry and salty/bland(this is a Darna thing), and a bonus is that they have lamb chops in their family platter. We always get the lahma w hummus and the medium family platter ($75*) for 2-3.5 people (0.5 for a kid). It is disappointing that lots of people come here more for hookah than the food, so if you don't smoke or like hookah smoke, it's STILL okay to eat here because there's A LOT of open indoo
