Coming from San Diego, I have very high expectations when it comes to tacos and birria… and let me just say — Tacos y Tortas Veronica blew me away! Tucked inside a gas station building in Chantilly, this place is a hidden gem that’s serving up absolute fire. The birria tacos were hot, fresh, juicy, and packed with flavor. The consomé was rich and full of herbs — perfect for dipping. You can taste the love and authenticity in every bite. I’ve been searching for three years for tacos like this in Northern VA, and this is the only spot that truly hit the mark. Order the #5 Chicken Sopa. It was a good size and super delicious. Definitely what I have been looking for since moving to VA. Only wish it had more cheese. I definitely will be going back to try more. Yummy!

The rare times I get to have authentic Mexican food I’m never disappointed, once again amazing. I’m still not even sure how it’s pronounced but price for portion is incredible as well as delicious!! Service matched the food totally fantastic. Hope I can come back.

the food is toooo good. loved the tortas, loved the tacos & definitely loved the pupusas! everything was just good. oh & the horchata was really good too! will definitely be coming back
