Tacos Y Pupusas Tia Sandra

Stopped here heading back from target. The food is cooked to order and is very tasty. Had the spinach and lorocco papusas, 3 corn tortilla chicken tacos, and 1 chicken quesadilla for 20.00. Chicken is tender, seasoned, great portion. The papusas are overflowing w cheese and the quesadilla is very filling. The ladies are very kind and sweet providing great service. Will definitely go back very soon.

Best food in Denton area!!! Denton has been missing some authentic Latin Food!!! This was beyond delicious!!! The service was amazing! Sure do know how to make you smile! Very humble and friendly people!! Forgot to snag a picture before we dig in!

This place so good, I’ve been putting off for a while but I’m so glad I went today. After losing holy pupusas this is such a nice place to have in Denton. I got the pupusas this time, but next time I will be ordering the pollo con tajadas!

This is IT. Taste just like Abuela made them. (I’m Salvi, I promise you I know.) This was such a great find for me. I’ve been craving GOOD pupusas, I’ve been trying to make it at home. Not the same. This is an art that this woman has perfected. I’m so happy I found this spot. She was out of chicharron (Pork but different than Mexican chicharron for Salvadorian pupusas) but the frijole con queso (just beans and cheese) was so filling and delicious. I just got one cause I was just trying them out. Will definitely be back. 10/10 GO HERE!! 💖

Loroco-Loroco is a climbing vine with edible flowers that is native to Central America. Decided to check out some of the food trucks we have been seeing around town. Most were Indian fare and neither of us were feeling that adventurous so we settled upon a Central American cuisine named Tia Sandra Tacos and Pupusus- corner of University and Malone on south east side. Lovely lady with two sons working hard. I chose the Locoro and cheese and the pork and cheese pupusus- they came with a slaw that was like a pickled slaw- all of it was tasty! Great choice! Parking is abundant but no really good place to eat to enjoy- there is one table but the busy street is loud
