Tacos Truck El Tío Rafa

I have a tendency to stay away from chain restaurants and only eat at taco trucks. This place was no exception and boy did they deliver. Carne asada and Cabeza tacos were great, along chicken nachos and a carne asada burrito that was sooooo good I forgot to snap the cross section photo before I bit into it. Absolute perfection. Make sure you get here asap. You won’t regret it!

In my experience, it can be *incredibly* difficult to secure a reliable, professional, and high-quality food truck vendor to service private events that are also open to neighborhood patrons; therefore, when I reached out to Tacos Truck El Tío Rafa, my experience working with them was very refreshing and affirming! They were immediately accommodating and responsive, even when all they had was my word that my event would generate enough profit to make it worth their time and investment. The El Tío Rafa team ended up servicing almost 250 guests at my party for approx. five hours, and they were prepared with more than enough food to do so! On top of it all, the food was DELICIOUS! So much so that my uncle broke his no meat diet to try the steak tacos because of how good they are! Other guests

Having lunch at this food truck location was one of the best experiences. The food was delicious and the customer service was top notch. They offered me to set in their porch to have my food and the little lady even took out a folding table from her house. They are so nice. Absolutely recommended.

Food was really good for a good price! I don’t usually like chicken tacos but even those were super good too.

They have the best tacos on the south side of Chicago I love them dearly they have great customer service
