Tacos Perico

The birria quesadilla was so far over the top good that I have to say Tacos Perico is in the top 5 taco stands I’ve ever been to. The tacos were also outstanding. Large portions and very reasonable prices. The quesadilla did take a little while but was worth the wait.

Stop what your doing and get down here and order some food. Best tacos I've had and that's saying something since Idaho Falls has some absolutely great taco trucks. The dude who was working last night was great. He hooked it up with sauce and didn't skimp on the meat in the spicy pork tacos I ordered. I'm coming back before I leave town. Whoever owns this place should take that show on the road and show other trucks how it's done.

He is only one man and it took him 20 minutes to make me two huge quesadillas five tacos and a plate of nachos prices for the food outstanding they’re perfect for the proportions you get he tells you at the beginning a it’s only me he communicates with you and the food. The taste the smell everything. Oh my God it is on point we drove from Burleigh over to Hayburn. He just took out all the other taco places for me. I will definitely only be going there.

This place has the best tacos around, not only that, they have the best salsas, and they know that's what sets them apart from all the other tacos in town. They add grilled onions, also, that make the tacos even better. Plus, the horchata is really good.

The Birria tacos (and quesadillas) are a cheap imitation. They are made clearly with meat they intend for other dishes (not the way Birria is made) extremely flavorless. The dipping sauce which is supposed to be the braise liquid that the meat was prepared in, was clearly not that.. very disappointing, take it off your menu. As for atmosphere, walking up and seeing a sign saying to try their double smash burger should have been the first sign this isn’t authentic Mexican street food, the Mexican menu was the hardest to read over their “other” menus.. trying to be a master of all just makes you a master of none. Only giving 2 stars because the pollo tacos were good. (And had flavor).
