Tacos Michoacan

Excellent authentic Mexican food that burst with the flavors of delicious and fresh and varying spices. Mouth explodes with flavor for each bite. A great variety of meat choices including beef cheeks, tongue, intestine and stomach. Like being back in Mexico.

Across all boards, this place blew me away. The best tacos I have had in all of California. I plan on going more often, and the moment it stops being the best place (for me), I will update this post. If I HAD to say something critical of this place, it would be the taco price. Four tacos ran me ~$14 (I got a water). Pretty steep, but like I said, it was the best tacos I have had here in California.

Don’t let the unsuspecting front fool you! The food here is amazing! The owner, Jose, is super friendly and has a great staff. This IS American Canyon’s hidden gem! Words can’t do this place justice, so just hop to the pics….

We are here on a week night so it wasn’t busy. The dining area is small, but very welcoming at the same time. We ordered the fajitas and their portions were very generous! The service was great and they checked on us periodically to see if we needed anything. Definitely will be back
