Tacos La Villa

In terms of overall flavor is was not bad. As always, I felt that some dishes were better than others but what really boosted the score for me was the specialties that go beyond your average Mexican restaurant and even unique ones. One of the biggest examples being the heart-shaped taco platter and birria pizza, both of which are more common in the west. Though I wish I would have tried more food, I think I got a pretty good idea of the food. I won't say it is the best but it is pretty darn good. Overall, definitely worth eating at! Extremely underwhelming. Mexican food outside of California and Mexico is always nasty. Significant difference in quality of ingredients. The carne asada tastes like cubed steakumms. Dry and unseasoned, every single time. Tortillas don’t get cooked. Don’t follow the special instructions for delivery. Wrong sodas. I give up on Mexican restaurants outside of the west coast

This was my first time eating at Taco La Villa. I actually came across the place while looking for somewhere to charge my phone. When I walked in, I was surprised — it was the loudest and most crowded restaurant I’ve ever been to. It honestly felt more like a supermarket, with people loudly calling out order numbers instead of a typical dining atmosphere. There were, however, a couple of things I did like — the wide variety of food options and the affordable prices. I ordered two birria tacos, assuming they would automatically come with a side of consommé, but it didn’t. When I asked about it, I was told I had to pay extra because I ordered two tacos instead of three. I went ahead and paid for it, but the experience was disappointing. Our absolute favorite. We came here periodically but have starting being regulars since they opened the bar. Jennifer is our absolute favorite and a lot of the reason we are regulars! I came here on a night when she off for the day, wasn’t the same level of service. Also love the desserts made fresh in front of the store! Highly recommend TLV!

Food is fresh, tasty and delicious. Once inside we did not understand how to be seated. It was very crowded and quite noisy as well. We saw a line near the register so went to join the line after placing order and paying got to wait for your order number to be called to collect the food. There were many food pickups and to go’s as well. We were here on Saturday around 06:30 pm. It took us hour to be out. Very crowded. Very reasonable price.
