Tacos La Mona

Such an amazing place!!! They're food is fresh, flavorful, homemade, and it doesn't get you bloated like a lot of restaurants/fast food. I've tried many different items from their menu due to passing by for work. I've had: menudo (Saturdays only), pazole (Saturdays only), breakfast tacos, fajitas, enchiladas (if you like spice ask for the habanero sauce), and more. The staff are so welcoming (since day one) and very clean. And theyre tortillas, oof- the best!!! I was so thrilled when my husband found this place, I will go no where else for lunch or breakfast when in Bellmead. Thank you all for such a great experience.

Best place to eat if you want real Mexican food! Everything is homemade even the tortillas. The staff is very humble and always makes you feel like family. I love coming here not just for the amazing food, but also to sit, relax, and get some homework done. Highly recommend!

My Husband found this place on google maps and decided to stop and grab a burrito on his way to work. He said he loved the burrito it was freshly made with homemade tortillas and very delicious. He told me he recommends this place and told me to go try it out myself and i am planning to do so soon. Knowing my Mexican husband is very picky with his Mexican food and to be impressed, i know that i won't be disappointed to give this place a try!☺️

Yes! Tacos La Mona is stupendous. From the time you walk in, it’s clean and welcoming. The staff is kind and you can tell that they love what they do. I had asada and al pastor; they were excellent. The seasoning is perfect. The meat is great. The tortillas… incredible. Thank you Tacos La Mona, le agradezco la atención y el cariño que le dan a su comida y el ambiente.

Food was really good, no complaints about the taste, but complaints about the fact we ordered two burritos today and I watched the employee write exactly what we wanted & then didn’t put anything we asked for in them… We wanted bacon on both, didn’t get bacon on either, ordered jalapeños on one burrito they gave us bell peppers. Asked for no potatoes on one burrito got it put in both. Asked for NO eggs on one burrito still got eggs. If you have teens working, make sure they’re doing their job following what’s written. We originally ordered a burrito w bacon, Sausage, potatoes, cheese & onions. Then the second one was supposed to be bacon egg cheese jalapeño onions. Neither were correct, but since it is Christmas Eve, we still went on about the day without making a fuss about it because we
