Tacos Gavilan

First time here 3/24/25 I had a taco of asada, Al pastor, and pollo. They were all really good. I also had a sope. Not only are the prices fair, but the tacos are not greasy like regular Street tacos. It was really good. I will be back.

If you ever stop by here - make sure to go for their 𝑺𝑼𝑷𝑬𝑹 options! These 𝒔𝒖𝒑𝒆𝒓 𝒏𝒂𝒄𝒉𝒐𝒔 and 𝒔𝒖𝒑𝒆𝒓 𝒃𝒖𝒓𝒓𝒊𝒕𝒐 of mine are super yummy. I love the big chunk of fresh avocado that was unreluctantly squeezed into these items. You can choose the meat filling, which I went for beef. They're VERY FLAVORFUL so I definitely recommend eating them with the side avocado. Cheese is extremely nice AND FLAVORFUL too! They made absolute paradise nachos. For dessert I recommend this lovely 𝒇𝒍𝒂𝒏. It's really soft and smells sweet. Try tamarind 𝒂𝒒𝒖𝒂 𝒇𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒄𝒂𝒔. along with everything to mix the flavor even more!

To me, still the best real mexican fast food around the LA area. Super clean, spacious, good service, great condiment bar etc. The quesadilla de asada is out of this world

When I first tried tacos El Gavilan, they were just a taco truck on Slauson and Broadway; they have grown much from then. The restaurant locations and service is always a great, and I can tell the owners care about providing quality food and service. I really dig the little packages of salsa and cilantro they provide. Owners:,never neglect your business and keep up with modern times. Thanks for your tacos and best of luck for the future.
