Great atmosphere,economical friendly and it's all within our thriving local community. Now to answer the big question, was the food good? Absolutely and to dare to challenge the standard of good as my humble palette experienced. It was, phenomenal. All that is left to say is thank you!

I stopped by Tacos Garay for breakfast and was blown away by how good everything was. The food tasted fresh, homemade, and full of flavor — the kind of meal that reminds you why local spots matter. The service was friendly, fast, and you can tell they genuinely care about their customers. My breakfast was cooked perfectly, the portions were generous, and the prices are super reasonable for the quality you get. If you’re looking for a new breakfast go-to, this place deserves way more attention. Highly recommend giving Tacos Garay a try — it’s easily one of the best breakfast experiences I’ve had in a while. Authentic, carefully prepared Mexican food, and plenty of it. Romero made me feel very comfortable. They make they're own salsa roja and it is good, not too hot. I'm from Texas and know a little bit about delicious Mexican food. If you're in Salt Lake City you must eat here!

I ordered the chilis rellenos and they were horrible! The cheese filling was hard and didnt taste good. The cheese topping wasn't even fully melted. The tortillas were also hard and looked like leftovers from the last customer. I would have sent it all back but I got the order to go and had to throw the whole thing away. I definitely won't go back! What a bummer!

Owners were very friendly making sure we had an enjoyable visit while eating some great food! Service, flavor, and atmosphere is 10/10. I love the interior of the restaurant very cozy and welcoming :) if you’re looking for some good authentic mexican food you don’t want to miss out on trying this spot! Owner gave us a special treat to try some of their buñuelos which were also so delicious.
