Tacos El Poblano

Such a hidden gem that I almost did not want to write the review!! Amazing prices, fantastic food, great service. I cannot recommend this place more. If you want an amazing authentic bite to eat, stop by and enjoy the flavors of Mexico!!!

Tacos taste good but I just pulled a hair out of one and I have curly hair so I wouldn’t recommend for health reason.

Tacos El Poblano – Yonkers, NY Disappointed Tacos On Hudson is closed on Mondays, my coworkers and I looked for some well-reviewed but affordable Mexican Food for lunch. We didn’t want to hurt our wallets too badly(Taco Project was first thought, but they don’t have lunch specials) so we settled on this little place nestled on a corner on Nepperhan Avenue in South Yonkers. Not much to look at from the outside or inside, the smells permeating from the restaurant definitely lured me in. The staff was super friendly and the food was quite delicious for the most part. The chicken in the tacos were well seasoned, but the steak was very dry and chewy. With hours of 8AM-2PM I tossed this up to either an old batch or I just caught them on an off day. It is hard to complain about the food here,

By far, the best taco place in all of Westchester. Service is great and staff are friendly. The vicinity is small but kept clean. Unfortunately, there are so many pan handlers in the neighborhood that you won't get to walk in through the doors without being bumrushed by panhandlers, much less be able to sit down and eat your food in peace. My last visit, I had two aggressive panhandlers knocking on my car windows begging for money. It caught me off guard and surprised me. If the food wasn't so good, I would try avoiding the area.

Food was amazing. Best tacos in Westchester. A little $$ but worth it because they’re just that good.
