Tacos El Grullense

Stopped by with my family for a quick bite and it was totally worth it. Ordered 4 Asada Tacos and they were BOMB. I regret not buying more. I wish I lived closer I'd be eating out every weekend.

Stopped here after a hike in Pinnacles. The tacos were unreal. We had the chorizo, pastor, and carnitas. All were outstanding. The carrots and peppers that came on the side were also a surprise delight. The jamaica agua fresca paired perfectly.

For over the counter Mexican food there is not much more that you want. Counter service, excellent food! This place is fresh, food was so tasteful. The Burrito is huge, great, good flavors came with a side of grilled onions, pickled carrots, and grilled chili peppers. The tostada Carne asada was so flavorful it was spicy but the flavors were so perfect together. The cassadia was built up with so many layers of flavor. Do not expect fine dining here. The tables are mismatched, the paintings on the wall are 3d reliefs with sculpture images of the sea. Large cardboard cutouts blocked a storage room of sorts. I am a foodie and I eat here every day! Can you imagine? That’s how good it is. And the prices are so reasonable. High standards for food cleanliness/preparation. There was a comment here about someone seeing a hair in their food. I have worked a lot professionally in food service. I have probably eaten 100 meals here and never had anything presented that was less than absolutely spotless and extremely sanitary. I am mostly a vegetarian and what I get is an order of beans and rice and four handmade corn tortillas. I also asked for their special salsa which they make custom which has green sauce and avocado.
