Tacos El Azteca

This is now one of my top 3 taco places in the U.S. It was a cold night and all I wanted were tasty authentic street tacos, and Azteca delivered. The service is quick and the salsa is nice and spicy. Rosy & Jon are as friendly as their tacos are legendary.

I have been to hundreds of food trucks in Connecticut. This is by far the best Mexican food one. Just go. Go now And experience this glorious treasure! You will NOT regret it!

This place is two good trucks that are joined together and they produce probably the best tacos in Connecticut, they are even good compared to LA street tacos. We got the pescado, an asada, el pastor, a veggie and a chorizo and an asada burrito. The pescado was very tasty, the veggie was moist and flavorful, the pastor was good, the asada taco and chorizo can easily be skipped they were both dry and not easy to really get the flavor out of. The burrito was tasty as well and a good mix of ingredients. The one thing is that they pile up the onions and cilantro so make sure you order your food without them if you don't like them.

We stop here on our way to New Hampshire. Since most of the reviews were good. But unfortunately, I would recommend it. Let me start by saying I'm Hispanic and grew up across the Mexican border. These burritos are not even 1% Mexican. I understand these are tex mex but they are horrible. First, they are back beans with a lot of cheese I order at least 7, and two were burned. I can't speak about the tacos but bean burritos for just HORRIBLE!!!

Horrendous food. Their house beef was literally just overcooked, dry, low quality ground beef. Green and red sauce were water thin and tasteless. Tacos were fine, I guess? Quesadilla was burned. Saw some reviews comparing this place to carts in LA, which is completely hilarious. This place is less Mexican than Chipotle. Absolute trash.
