Tacos Charly #2

I stopped by Taco Charly today to try their nachos since it was recommended by my friend. I came in the morning so there was parking in the small plaza this place is in. I got the nachos with asada. It didn't take them long to make and they give you salsa for it. They put a good amount of asada in the nachos and cheese but I didn't get a lot of jalapenos. The nachos chip were fresh and not stale. I would recommend trying this place at least once.

I have to give this place 5 stars for how long it’s been around ! Yes the nachos are really good, but tacos are was over priced and few other items and quality has gone down so here’s updated menu! To be fair place is always clean also! And if you’ve ever had bad service well it happens everywhere time to time

Honestly, I'm not sure how this place is still in business. My most recent visit was end of July 2024. I have been here before. I'd say about 10 years ago I was here a couple of time. I love the nachos. But I always felt the staff was rude to me and possibly prejudice sine I didn't speak Spanish. That being said, I stopped going there. Until recently, I seen there were still in business so I thought, things must've changed. Place is a CASH ONLY business. Not up with technology in 2024. That is a bummer, I have to use the ATM at a neighbor business. The place had a total of 4 people in there, including me. It was strange they took forever to take MY order. Best carne asada nachos I’ve ever had. I drive up from San Diego county just to eat these while pregnant (and before). I crave them like nothing else. I don’t normally like nacho cheese, but for some reason the combination of cheese with the nacho cheese they use is absolute perfection. I usually order extra jalapeños and extra meat. Worth it to me. But just as tasty without the extras. I’ve never tried anything else from here, but the nachos will keep me coming back again and again. The one downside is there is no public restroom. And note: it’s cash only.

The ladies gave us so much attitude. When we were ordering, the cashier had left to ring in our order before we had even finished ordering. When we had said that we still needed to add more, she gave us attitude and took the rest of the order incorrectly. We said no chile on anything and we got chile on our nachos. When we had explained to them that we had ordered everything without chile, they had said it was our fault for not saying anything. We did, however, and they even got the manager involved because they claimed that we don’t know how to order. They fixed our order but with so much attitude. They just kept staring us down as they were fixing it. This is the last time I come here. They didn’t even pack our food correctly. I paid $32 for them to throw my food around. This food isn’t
