Tacocraft Taqueria & Tequila Bar

My wife and I went to a Frank Sinatra show in Fort Lauderdale, and afterward we wanted a really good taqueria. She found Tacocraft in a beach town we’d never visited before, Lauderdale-by-the-Sea, and I’m so glad we ended up there. We tried the Oaxacan empanada and a bunch of tacos (Baja fish, carne asada, Korean BBQ, and crispy fish). We also ordered street corn, chips with the guacamoles (I think it was called “Guacamole Flight”) plus drinks, a passionfruit mojito and a strawberry mojito. Everything was affordable, and the flavors were unreal. That empanada was the standout for me, I honestly can’t stop thinking about it. I’ve never had one like that before, and it’s officially on my favorites list now. Service was friendly, and parking was easy too. It’s on the street behind the restaur

Tacocraft is such a great spot. The atmosphere is unbeatable for a beach town — lively, fun, and exactly what you want when you’re out enjoying the area. Service was very good, and our server was attentive and genuinely friendly the entire time. The margaritas were GREAT. I highly suggest the spiced pineapple — easily a standout. We ordered the taco platter and guac flight (go get the corn & bacon guac!) during brunch and everything was delicious. I’d definitely love to come back and try more from their main menu. If I had one small critique, it would be the crispy chicken taco. It’s not bad, but the flavors didn’t quite blend the way I expected. Still, overall an awesome experience and absolutely worth visiting.

We had low expectations from this location that is in a very "touristy" place and initially only planned on ha ing draft beer. They have a large dining room with tables and many booths and an L shape patio on the sidewalk. They have many specials throughout the week and it seems that Tuesday has the best all-day specials. They have many beers on tap. We had shrimp tacos(good) Mahi tuna tacos (great), fish tacos (good) and nachos (fresh and tasty) with chili mango salsa (worth having, very tasty). Service was attentive and relaxed and, all in all, the location ended up being a very pleasant surprise. The only "negative" is that they charge 3% of the bill for using a credit card (!!).

This was our first time here and the food and service was excellent! I had the three tacos platter... Baja fish, catch of the Day which was mahi and poke. My daughter had the mini poke tacos, which I would get next time. My wife had The ultimate nachos. Adrian was our waiter and was courteous, friendly and extremely attentive. We will ask for him every time we go! We will will definitely be back and highly recommend this place!

We truly enjoyed our Taco Craft experience. From friendly, prompt service to deli cious food, we were impressed. The cod tacos and the Mahi tacos were favorites, the guacamole and chips were a hit, and the yuca fries were a standout. We would dine here again and recommend if you're going to be in the Lauderdale by the Sea area.
