Taco Zocalo

The tacos were good, but I was disappointed on the rice & salsa. They add cumin to their salsa and it was so overpowering. Same thing with the rice, it’s just a seasoning that you can’t add too much of because it is strong. If I ever go back here, I’ll stick to just tacos and not order any sides. The burrito was huge and my husband enjoyed it, wish we would have known they had a lot of hot sauces to use but we didn’t see them until we had finished our food. That would have been helpful to be offered that when we got our food sent to the table.

This place is a hidden gem. Everything tastes amazing, and the food is served warm and very clean. The staff is extremely friendly, and we loved all the sauces. Definitely coming back with the whole family!

**Disappointing Experience at Taco Zocalo** We recently ordered from Taco Zócalo and unfortunately wasn’t impressed. Tried the Birria taco, a soft taco, and a burrito, but none of them stood out—in fact, they were pretty underwhelming. The Birria lacked depth of flavor and didn’t have that rich, savory broth you’d expect, and both the soft taco and burrito felt bland and uninspired. For the price and hype, I expected much better. Probably won’t be ordering from here again.

Surprisingly good fast-casual Mexican. Tacos, burritos, chips, chimichanga. Highly recommend the house tacos. Added bonus: custom hot sauces and salsa!

I had such a great experience at Tacos Zocalo! We ordered the birria tacos and they were so good super flavorful, perfectly cooked, and the consommé was amazing. The salsa was also AMAZING. Everyone working there was really nice and the service was quick, which made the whole experience even better. Definitely coming back!
