Taco Time

Literally the greasiest taco I’ve ever eaten in my life. I had high hopes for this place because I love tacos and this is the closest establishment to my home, but I felt sick almost immediately after eating this taco and the amount of grease that just poured out of it as I was eating it should have stopped me in my tracks, but I was too hungry. They are not straining the meat after cooking it I’m guessing.

People were so gracious, helpful, humbled, paid close attention to detail, place was super clean. The crème empanada were great!

Walk up service at a gas station. The tacos are not good. The meat is sweet which makes no sense. This is a chain based in Canada and the Canadian tacos are fantastic but these are not good. Don't recommend the tacos at all. In Canada they're better than del Taco. Spicy and savory and delicious but these fall very short of the original

Being from the west coast Taco Time was the bomb!! I traveled about 90 minutes to get to this Taco Time from my house (easier than the plane ride home) and it did not disappoint! The crisp meat burritos seemed larger than I remember. The cherry empanda was as delicious as ever ( I dip it in their sour cream). The hot sauce is perfection and has not changed in 20 years. I will be driving to Winchester again. The service was friendly and, unlike most places, didn't seem unhappy to be doing their jobs. The only thing was it was in a circle K, which I didn't expect, but it was clean, orderly, and not too busy.

Just like old times back in High Point NC years ago. The crisp meat burrito is still the best. This is definitely my happy place. Love it! The employees are so nice and friendly. I will be back again when I am up for another 5 hour drive!
