Taco Star

This is a good Mexican food place. Make sure to take the drive thru, since it is faster from previous experience. The food is great, especially the carne azalea fries. The carne azalea fries are fries with cheese, cream, and beef and tastes good. Most food is in the 3-10$ range, card is accepted, and worth it. It's a nice place to visit and staff are very kind!

Drive thru. Ordered Chorizo, Bacon, Egg, Cheese breakfast burrito. I was in a hurry, and the food came out fast and was great. Definitely worth a stop in.

When you ask for NO Tomatoes and NO Guacamole and they still put on tomatoes and guacamole. Place was not busy for them to screw up. So they just don’t care

When I first started getting bean and cheese burritos from here, I really liked them great beans and cheese now when I get them, I don’t know why, but the beans are cold and the cheese doesn’t even melt which I’m not sure why that is. Maybe it’s the quality of the cheese, maybe their beans aren’t warm enough Because I have gotten them where my beans were cold. This time they were OK but the cheese still wasn’t melted. 9/03/2025

We have always gone to the taco star off Washington and 84th and had a great experience so this one was closer to us and we tried it out. It was the most disgusting breakfast burrito I’ve had in my life and my sons tacos seemed like the meat was past its shelf life, I told him not to eat them so he wouldn’t get sick because it tasted off. The burrito was full of old fryer oil fries and literally no egg for the price they should be ashamed to have served this to someone. Like no joke the worst burrito I’ve ever had, I’m assuming they haven’t changed their oil in weeks because they weren’t busy for it to be this filthy. Please don’t waste your money here they will potentially serve you food that can make you sick.
