Taco Shop

This place is an authentic, no frills taqueria. There is a bakery attached with tasty looking baked goods. The prices are reasonable and the portions are large. I got a pastor burrito and it was very tasty. It came with chips and salsa and those were both great as well. Cash only.

Heads up, this place is cash only-but theres an ATM if you forget. The chips and salsa that come with your order are to die for. The placero tacos that were recommended when ordering are one of my new favorite tacos. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Everything on the menu sounded amazing and was unsure of what to get. The staff explained all the dishes I had questions about and even gave me an idea of portion size; to say they went above and beyond is an understatement. Definitely will be returning...often.

Lovely authentic Mexican Cafe. Lovely atmosphere and friendly staff and regulars. Enjoyed my many visits while in the area. Will return when back in thousand oaks.

AUTHENTIC! The food was outstanding! This is truly a south of the border style cuisine. Not modified for U.S. standards. I had the Chile Relleno, wifey had 2 pastor tacos. Generous portions and again...food was just SO GOOD! Beer available. Bakery attached to the restaurant. CASH Only! My new favorite. I
