Taco Rico

Looove love love this place! We got the birria con consume and the chips and queso. The servings were so huge that my husband and I both had left overs! Everything was flavorful and absolutely delicious! The sauces and veggies were super fresh. The owner there told us all about Taco Rico and the place next door that she owns called sweet land ( poke, açaí, boba waffles etc) which we will definitely be trying out. The service was friendly, food was amazing and the space was super clean 10/10 will definitely be coming back!!

My wife and I recently conducted an investigative trip to Taco Rico, drawn in by whispered legends and excellent online reviews. Upon entry, we were instantly greeted by staff who treated the menu not as a simple list of options, but as a sacred, scrolling text they were determined to help us decipher. The menu itself is a glorious, overwhelming document of Mexican flair—it’s less a menu and more a comprehensive list of all edible things. We quickly committed to the magnificent Carne Asada Burrito Supreme and secured a necessary side of chips. While our food was being built (a surprisingly swift operation), we approached the Salsa Bar, which is frankly less of a bar and more of an armed arsenal of fiery condiments. Service was bad. The lady up front didn’t even greet me. I ordered for a carne asada supreme burrito (which is a lie) Only one guy was on the grill. They took 35mins to hand me my order. And the burrito was severely underwhelming an misleading. I only found about 4-5 little tiny chunks of asada. The burrito consistent nothing but beans, rice, and cheese. What a waste of $14. Never coming again.

Love this local neighborhood taco place! Tuesday special is carne asada street tacos for less than $9 with a drink. Great options on the salsa bar. Love the decor and vibe of the place. If you are headed up to Farr West or even just up to 400 North or work at Amazon or at BDO this is a super option for lunch.

Absolutely recommend this place! We got the quesabirria street tacos with consomé, and normal birria and grilled chicken. Not only were the tacos some of the best I've had, but the service was beautiful. The plating was also gorgeous! The people that work there are sweet, efficient
