The meat slicer had dry, caked-on soil, and the ice machine interior showed black and yellow buildup. Two wiping cloths were improperly stored on food contact surfaces instead of in a sanitizer. Ready-to-eat foods, including cooked meats, rice, menudo and salsa, lacked required date markings. Various foods in the walk-in and reach-in refrigerators, such as beef, corn and green salsa, were not covered to prevent contamination. The establishment did not have a certified food protection manager on staff. A container of cooked intestines was stored directly on the prep area floor. A jacket was improperly stored on top of a meat slicer due to the lack of a designated dressing area. The facility did not maintain temperature logs for TCS foods or calibration logs for the pH measuring device. - F

$2.50 Tacos daily, $1.50 on Tuesdays. All the staples and more! Buche and Lengua were diced and so tender. Suadero was cooked crisp and bursting with flavor. Exactly the kind of taco spot Ive been searching for in NM. Authentic and traditional mexican dishes that are prepared to perfection and served by an exceptionally friendly staff! Bonus points for the self-service station of toppings and fixins for tacos. All the guacamole salsa, lime, and curtido you want. This restaurant is going above and beyond. They could easily charge more for their product and give less conveniences, but it's obvious that they are creating a space for the community to love and thrive in. Much respect. Tacomex Garcia is an awesome Mexican and seafood restaurant. Great service great food and beautiful atmosphere. Will surely be returning. 10/10 tacos

Got a Posole. It was delicious, Home style delicious. Agua de Melon was also delicious. Atmosphere was great. Friendly lady and cook. Fast service.
