Taco Express in Fairfield is a great spot when you want authentic Mexican food that’s fresh, flavorful, and served fast. The tacos are always packed with flavor, the portions are generous, and everything tastes like it’s made fresh to order. The meats are well seasoned and the salsa adds the perfect kick. The staff is friendly and the service is quick, which makes it a great place to stop for lunch or dinner. When time is tight and you just want something quick, Taco Express #2 at 1730 West Texas St in Fairfield seems like the perfect stop. I pulled into the drive-thru expecting a fast, fresh meal, but it quickly turned into a letdown. The wait wasn’t terrible, but the food that came out was lukewarm at best and definitely not “made fresh” like their brand promise claims. It felt like it had been sitting under the heat lamps for a while. Honestly, I would’ve been better off parking and ordering at the counter inside. For a place that markets speed and freshness, this visit fell short on both. I’ll probably give them another shot someday, but next time I’m skipping the drive-thru. Would I recommend? Only if you’re in a huge rush and don’t mind rolling the dice on temperature and freshness. 3.5/

So it's all about Taco Tuesday. Shredded Beef Ground Beef and Shredded Chicken... I'd say the chicken is the most fire. Super soft and flavorful. They have the chip and salsa bar too. Dont forget to get a nice drink as well. I really enjoyed myself at Taco Express

Fries were not even cooked. They were practically raw. On top of that they barely filled the container.They ask what kind of sauce I always say green. Every single time they give me red and green. They’re wasting their own product. What the point in asking if you don’t actually plan on giving the right sauce? I go here all the time not anymore.

For what I ordered. The food was pretty good and a nice portion. This location is now only open from Monday-Saturday . They do have a drive thru as well as accept Apple Pay. If you already know their menu and what you want, then the line seems to move along pretty quick. Bit during lunch is always busy.
