Taco Central

Yesterday (Saturday) we stopped in for their fantastic tacos. Diego greeted us warmly and immediately and took our drink order and asked if we’d like chips and salsa. They have the mild but also a medium, hot and green (verde) salsa. All are equally delicious. I ordered two steak taco with pico added and Johnny had the enchilada taco and a rancherio taco. These were all fantastic, fresh and very tasty. Tons of tender steak with homemade tortillas made them perfect. Diego, we found out is the owners husband, so a woman owned business if this matters to you. The restaurant is always clean and today’s service was over the top excellent. Come here for the excellent fresh food and friendly people. A gem in Ansonia

Great place from food to service. Very clean, friendly and welcoming environment! We had margaritas which were refreshing and delicious…Not too sweet or surgery at all! The chips/salsa/guacamole were delicious. Fresh warm and homemade. We had a variety of tacos which were melt in your mouth amazing. Can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend for authentic taco experience. Ask for Diego, he was the best!

Magnificent FRESH Mexican dishes. Very authentic and super friendly staff. Very nice clean dining room and a bar. Highly recommended!

Fantastic service! Such sweet staff, great recommendations. The central sampler was a great teaser into some of the menu, strawberry margarita is quite large and food was excellent. The server also brought roses to my mother and I at the beginning of our meal :) would absolutely come back!!

The food was fresh and authentic. Service was good. Some things were a little pricier than expected and sour cream shouldn't be extra in my opinion but overall a good experience.
