Taco Cantina DC Mexican Grill

I was very skeptical about this place at first but once we got there and tried our food, it was great! The atmosphere was very nice coming from an introvert, although we were there on a Tuesday night. The food was very authentic and delicious and our waitress was very kind. The only strange thing is they have an 18% service fee on top of the 20% tip they recommend after they’ve taken your card. The Tres Leches was AMAZING. Highly recommend.

Excellent food, Excellent service, great happy hour prices. I welcome this authentic mexican restaurant in our neighborhood! Ten million quadrillion times better than the place across the street. Happy hour margaritas were delicious and not watered down, happy hour tacos had generous portions of meat, delicious house-made salsas, and were nicely garnished with radishes and cukes. Im looking forward to going back and trying some full price entrees!

I’ll definitely visit here again ! The food was so good, and full of flavor . I order chicken quesadillas with shredded chicken. ☺️ Everyone was friendly—their service is amazing and quick . The aesthetics are super cute as well . 🥰

Food was really good. Wings were crispy and fresh. The fries were really good. Came on my lunch break and was served in a timely manner to enjoy my food and get back to work on time. Definitely will come again!

12MAY2025 First time here and as soon as me and my mate walked in, we were greeted with a huge smile. Food is so delicious and this spot is also a club after 10pm. Great spot, delicious fresh, hot food, and energy is amazing.
