My boyfriend and I came here for dinner on a Friday night and we sat at the bar area. We ordered a couple drinks and an appetizer of chips and queso as well as two tacos each and were having a great time. It didn’t seem like a lot of time had passed until we got our tacos, but several kitchen staff came out and expressed concern that we hadn’t been served our food yet, which I thought was extremely courteous and sweet. Drew, a chef from the kitchen, comes out and personally tells us that he’s sorry the food took so long and that he was going to comp our entire meal. Our service was absolutely stellar and we will be coming back! Plus the food was delicious, as were the cocktails!
Taco Buddha has amazing tacos with unique, original recipes inspired by flavors from around the world. The drinks are great, prices are solid, and their sauces are easily the best part. The modern ordering system makes everything smooth, and the staff always makes you feel taken care of. Love that they opened a new location right next to where I live. Highly recommend.
Their brunch menu was so delicious!! We had the gargantua breakfast burrito (that queso with green chiles 🤌) and the Santa Fe short stack (blue cornmeal pancakes). I didn’t know how good gluten-free pancakes could be!
Love Taco Buddha, and I’m very excited that Taco Buddha – Botanical Heights is finally closer to South City because I already know I’m going to be here way too often. The QR code ordering is super easy, everyone working there is really nice, and the food is just as good as the U City location. Their tacos are inspired by the original owner’s travels through Asia, and you can really taste it in the salsas and spices. The flavors are so good and feel a little different than your typical taco spot. I also love how conscious they are of dietary restrictions. You can get corn tortillas, most things are gluten free, and it never feels like a hassle to order. If you go before 11 a.m., they have $5 drinks, including Bloody Marys. You can grab a drink, hang out, and then order tacos after. Honestly
Excited to see Taco Buddha make it to the city. I ordered curbside pickup a little after 6PM: chips and salsa, and a quesadilla with added Taos Green Chile Pork Carnitas. Did not realize until I was home and eating that I had gotten someone’s veggie quesadilla by mistake—still delicious, but def missed the desired protein.
