Taco Bell / KFC

Food is good, place is clean, but the service is INCREDIBLY SLOW!!! I ate inside and i waited 25 minutes for a mac n cheese. Ridiculous.

I stopped by to get my Taco Bell fix since it had been a few months. The food was good for fast food, the restaurant was clean but the service was exceptional. The clerk was nice, friendly, and helpful. It was good to see someone so positive where her mood could and I'm sure affected others in a positive way.

Today was my first trip to Vermont’s Worst Taco Bell, and honestly it wasn’t that bad. Sure, the toilet was unflushed and seat sprinkled with pee, used paper towels strewn about the floor.. sure, I waited 20+ minutes for my meal.. the service was indeed uninspired… but when I got the food, it was hot, tasted fresh, and was prepared correctly. I ordered a luxe box and doritos taco and requested all items be without lettuce, and there was not a speck of lettuce to be found! And included everything else expected on each item. Pleasantly shocked at the success rate! And for that I’m giving 5 stars to drag up the avg a bit.. at below 3 stars avg I really thought this place wasn’t worth my time and resigned myself to Taco Bell as an out-of-state vacation activity only. The lady at the checkout was super kind and gave us no issues. She was efficient and sweet. We waited less than 10 minutes for our food and the tables we sat at were very clean and clearly washed before we arrived. We’re not from here, so we asked for as many taco bell hot sauces as she could deliver and we got SO many! It was very dead inside around 8 pm so we got the whole establishment to ourselves. My boyfriend previously resided in St. Albans, and I had thusly heard legends regarding the nature of this particular KFC/Taco Bell. So, on a whim, we decided to make a two hour pilgrimage to the site, to see if its former rugged charms remained. Now, let me preface; before our voyage we read the updated reviews and it would seem that between the other most recent experiences and ours, the St. Albans KFC/Taco Bell has begun its redemption arc. Despite what the legends would have you believe, we only spent around 21.22 minutes in the drive thru. Is this very fast? Heavens no, but it is leagues better than the 45 minutes average it seemed to previously uphold.
