Taco Bamba Fair Lakes

I chose to spice things up for lunch today at my local Taco Bamba Taqueria. We ordered a variety of tacos, and for myself, I got a ‘Can I See A Manager’, the ‘El Gringo’, and with a side of ‘The Other Fries’ containing nacho cheese, pico de gallo, jalapeno, and salsa valentina. Our food was delicious …but there was a long black hair that was found in the fries, that is a no-no.

Today we went back to eat at Taco Bamba and tried the new item, the Bamba Double Smashburger. It was okay for me—I think I’ll stick to ordering tacos at a taco place. The churros weren’t the same as last time; they had less cinnamon sugar on them. My daughter went back to ask for more, and she was only given a pinch. I went back myself and the same thing happened, which really surprised me. Is it expensive to give customers a little extra cinnamon sugar, or did the lady at the counter just not want to? I don’t know, but I was disappointed. We didn’t get the same experience as our first visit, when we were excited to try it again. Try at your own risk—you might not get the same experience every time.

Had no idea what Taco Bamba was when we saw it driving by but decided it looked good for lunch, and it was a great choice. The menu is expansive, with all sorts of tacos from classic Mexican street tacos to fancier American style, breakfast all day, lots of drinks from the bar, and more. The queso and chips were good, and I enjoyed my carnitas salad bowl, it was very filling with quinoa and greens and more.

Outstanding as always! We’ve been going to taco bamba for years now ever since discovering their original location in Falls Church. As expected this location was great. Even with a line to the door on a Friday at 6pm they still delivered great food and excellent service. The big bar is great too because you can grab a drink while you wait in line. Cashier was super nice and the food was just as good as any of the other locations. We’ll definitely be back.

Even tho they are Mexican fast food chain, they make tacos tastes like tacos. They are making fresh juices which has natural ingredients. I liked this place and recommend Taco Bamba for Taco and cocktail lovers.
