Tabla Indian Restaurant Colony

We stopped by this place with my family, and all of us absolutely loved it. They welcomed us with a Green Breeze drink, which tasted wonderful and made for a refreshing start. We then ordered pani puri, and the two different flavors they offered were a delightful and interesting surprise. Their starters were impressive—each dish was prepared exactly the way an Indian palate would enjoy. I became a huge fan of their pulaos, especially the mixed pulao, which I absolutely loved. They also have a very friendly staff, which made the experience even better. Overall, we had an amazing experience. I wouldn’t call Tabla just a restaurant, it’s a complete experience.

Volcano Chicken-7/10 Creamy Coriander- 8/10 Mughalai Chicken- 7/10 Garlic and chilli naan- 8/10 Garlic naan- 7/10 Spicy Guava- 5/10 Ordered Volcano Chicken, Creamy Coriander in appetizers. Vol Chicken was kind of chicken 65 and creamy coriander has a lite cream texture and coriander flavor. Taste was good with both the appetizers. Chicken was in a good bite size. Portion size is not worth the money. Little portion for the cost they are charging. Mughalai Chicken with Garlic naan and garlic chilli naan was good too, but again the portion size was not worth the price. Not sure if naans were fresh or frozen, because once they cooled down after 10-15 mins of serving they were very chewy and hard. SpicyGuava in drinks was not so worthy,did not have much guava flavor, drink felt very bland in

Decent food but very slow service. By the time we arrived , only 2 tables were occupied and restaurant was mostly empty around 6pm. And Couple of dishes almost took 30-40 mints to be served. Samosa - Crispy and lightly spiced. Good. Papdi Chaat - Simple flavours , well done. Chicken Tikka - Chicken tikka was cooked well and had good flavour. Malai Methi chicken - Flavour was ok but chicken was slightly over cooked. And we waited a long time to get it on our table. Five fifty five babycorn - just ok, was super tangy and took forever to be served. We had to politely remind our waitress for this. We were planning to order few other dishes but dropped the idea after seeing such delay. Masala Soda was balanced but Tropical shade mocktail was super sweet l:

This is quite overhyped but only the ambience is nice, but the food definitely needs improvement. We ordered Chicken Lollipop, which was crispy and good. The Volcano Chicken 65 came with cold meat inside while the spice on top was hot, but the waitress was very kind and made sure to check if we liked it. We then ordered Zafrani Biryani, which was a disaster, so it was replaced with Chicken Dum Biryani, but that was also disappointing and tasted very different, not good at all. We couldn’t even eat it and left the entire biryani. Honestly, one of the worst biryanis I’ve had. The ambience is good, but the food definitely needs improvement.

If you’re a foodie like me, you’ll love this place! The menu has a wide variety of dishes, and we loved everything we tried (curry leaf chicken, green mirchi shrimp pulao, street style chicken noodles). The Green welcome drink was really good and refreshing and the restaurant has such a cozy and charming atmosphere. Must try !!
